Eyebrow lifting (facial SPA) – immediate rejuvenation

Brow lifting is a procedure that can achieve a smoother forehead, a brighter look and a more youthful appearance. This procedure is recommended for people who:

  • Notice a sagging of the skin around the forehead/eyes, which they want corrected;
  • Have deep, horizontal wrinkles on the forehead;
  • Show expression wrinkles in the inner area of the eyebrows.

How is the eyebrow lift performed?

Brow lifting can be done in several ways, depending on the needs of the patient. Following a consultation with me, we will determine what your expectations are regarding the procedure and exactly what steps I will take to achieve that outcome.

I use the temporal lifting method, where only small incisions are used and only the outer part of the eyebrow is lifted. The incisions will be at the level of the scalp, hidden between the hairs, so they will not be noticeable.

It is important to remember that in certain cases, a blepharoplasty intervention will also be necessary to remove excess skin from the eyelids.

How do I prepare for a brow lift?

In preparation for the operation, it will be necessary to:

  • Avoid alcohol consumption;
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory drugs;
  • Keep yourself very well hydrated.

What happens after the eyebrow lift?

Following the operation, the area will be inflamed for about a week, during which time it is recommended to apply ice packs and sleep with your head slightly elevated. Although pain is unlikely, you may feel discomfort.

After 5-7 days post-op, we will remove the wires, you will be able to return to work and continue your daily activity. The results will be seen immediately, and can last between 5 and 10 years, depending on the chosen method and the patient’s lifestyle.
